Description:
Umbrella provides floating support to people who are housed in council accommodation, permanent or temporary and PSL. Staff are based at one site which is in Finchley Central. Staff do not work weekends but if a client requires weekend visits this can be arranged. Support can also be provided across other boroughs providing they remain the responsibility of Barnet Council or CMHT. No out of hours on call is available to Floating support clients.

Does not provide housing or other accommodation 
Service suitable for:
People with complex, risk behaviour and who are willing to accept help with housing problems and daily living skills. 
Special Requirements and Limitations:
Single people only (Vacancies do not become available often) 
Support Period:
Medium-term supported housing for one to two (Move-on opportunities are available for tenants who would like to move to more independent housing) 
Charging:
There is a charge for the support service but help is available for people who are unemployed or on low income (Housing Benefit is also available to help with the rent for the accommodation)
