The Foundation Service is based at Threshold Barnet Centre in North Finchley and provides specialist support for service users to obtain private rented housing and to manage their tenancy responsibilities. The service works in partnership with Turning Point (the main organisation providing substance misuse services in Barnet) and Probation. This service helps service users to obtain acccommodation from private landlords.
Accommodation Details:
Very limited temporary accommodation can be made available to people who are homeless while private rented housing is being arranged.
Service suitable for:
People with substance misuse problems and/or ex-offenders who are able to manage the responsibilities of a private tenancy and who are willing to accept support.
Special Requirements and Limitations:
Applications should be made through Turning Point, Probation and Barnet Drug and Alcohol Service.
