Description:
The Foundation Service is based at Threshold Barnet Centre in North Finchley and provides specialist support for service users to obtain private rented housing and to manage their tenancy responsibilities. The service works in partnership with Turning Point (which is the main organisation providing substance misuse services in Barnet) and Probation.
Accommodation Details:
This service helps offenders or ex-offenders to get acccommodation from private landlords (very limited temporay accommodation could be available for service users who are homeless while private rented housing is being arranged).
Service suitable for:
People with substance misuse problems and/or who are ex-offenders who are able to manage the responsibilities of a private tenancy and who are willing to accept support.
Special Requirements and Limitations:
Applications are accepted from Turning Point, Probation and Barnet Drug and Alcohol Service.
Support Period:
Up to one year.
